Graphing factored form

When you graph factored form you need to find out the

  • X-intercepts (s, 0) (t, 0)

  • Axis of symmetry (A.O.S)

  • Y- coordinate (Optimal value)

X -intercepts

The x-intercepts are always given in factored form. You could see it right way and figure out the x-intercept.

Axis of symmetry (A.O.S)

You could find the axis of symmetry by using a formula. The s and t are the x-intercepts. This would tell you the value of x.

To find the y-coordinate (optimal value), you need to substitute the A.O.S in to the equation.

Y-coordinate (Optimal value)

You substitute the AOS
