Perfect square

If an equation starts and ends with a square, it may be a perfect square trinomial.

The first term starts with a square. So the square root of a^2 is a.

The third term ends with a square.       So the square root of b^2 is b.

The middle term is 2 x a (the square root of a^2) x b (the square root of b^2). 2 x a x b

Example

2^2 (Starts with a square)

3^2 (Ends with a square)

This is a complex trinomial so you factor it just this:

They both are the same so it could be written as this
